Happy New Year!!! New Year has always been one of my favourite holidays, earlier celebrating with family at a huge table full of delicacies, now - with friends. Since I moved to Finland from Russia Christmas became family holiday and New Year is with friends. In Russia New Year is often celebrated in the close circle of family. Christmas is on the 7th of January and celebration coninues with more guests. In Europe it is vise versa.
This year we celebrated New Year with Russian-Finnish friends and had some typical Russian food - Olivie salad, seledka pod shuboi, bread with caviar and fish etc.
I really appreciate time spending with my friends and it is great that friends who already have small kids join us.
On spending New Year I had a chance to try champagne with gold flakes, you can't really taste them it just looks cool. 10 minutes before New Year chimes we went out to enjoy the fireworks, raise glasses of champagne and make a lot of wishes.
On New Year's night I was wearing Mango red dress and Wolford neon tights in anthracite color. You can't see Mikko in the pictures as he was photographing. Anyway, you can see our celebration through his eyes.
