Hope you all have a great weekend! I continue to share our road trip memories from France, Monaco and Italy. I will be lying if I just say I liked Cinque Terre. I fell in love with it! - these are the right words and frankly speaking it was the best of Italy for us. From Monaco we were driving to Genova where we stayed for a night, after that we drove to Cinque Terre with a stop in Portofino.

Cinque Terre is translated as five lands and comprise 5 villages: Monteresso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
We booked our apartment for 2 nights through
AirBnb that was pretty affordable and traveled there by car. If you travel as a backpacker it is pretty easy to travel by train and then bus. The truth is that Cinque Terre is worth visiting by any means and at least for 2 days. We stayed in San Bernardino village which is in 1,5 km from Corniglia. In the morning we drove to Corninglia, left our car in the parking and got our ticket to explore all five lands by train and on foot. You can walk all the lands on foot which is not the easiest way. So we decided to explore 4 villages by train and to walk to one village. Trains are pretty comfortable and easy to travel but they don't go on time, they can be early or late. Anyway it doesn't bother that much. All our attempts to go on hiking from one village to another were unsuccessful. Many routes are closed because of rocks falling from the hills. So if you decide to go on hiking choose the route from Monteresso to Vernazza, according to the guide book it is the most beautiful route.
Why Cinque Terre was the highlight of Italy for us? Every second there was like a dream in paradise: stunning sceneries, crystal water, huge massive rocks with colorful tiny houses on them and of course atmosphere of eternal holiday in this holy land...
To explore Cinque Terre we got packed as true tourists with back pack, beach towels, swimsuits on and of course a ton of sun protection.
Swimbody from Wolford is absolutely magical garment, it forms the waist making the shape look perfect. I was wearing it with jeans shorts and it looked like a top. I absolutely loved this transformation!
